It's been 5 years since we opened the door at Key Appointments and we don't know where the time has gone!
We were deep in a recession in July 2009 and some may have said that Managing Director, Keeley Edge was mad for opening a recruitment company. With 13 years experience in the recruitment industry at that point, Keeley recognised that the recruitment industry was changing also and companies both large and small were looking for alternative ways to recruit the best talent whilst also watching their budgets. It was for this reason that Keeley confidently started Key Appointments mid recession. Key Appointments would focus on offering flexible recruitment services based on budget and resource.

Throughout the past 5 years we have developed strong relationships with SME's in the Yorkshire area and we continue to listen to them to make sure we are providing the right level of service that meets the demands of their business. Budgets are still tight for many companies but the desire to grow and expand with the best talent is stronger more than ever.
There are many ways to recruit these days - online job boards are ever increasing as is social media becoming more and more popular. So with all of these ways to "DIY", why would you still want to use a recruitment company? The two main reasons that most companies state are; 1) they just don't have the time, and 2) a recruitment company is better positioned to access a wider range of candidates.
This information has really helped us to define our service offering which has been tweaked and amended over the past 5 years. We have now have 3 different types of service enabling us to provide recruitment support wherever it's needed and differentiates us from a traditional recruitment agency.
