We are working with an organisation that is dedicated to providing top-tier care services and they are looking for a Housekeeper to join their team at Heath Lodge in Boroughbridge, North Yorkshire.

  • Working 5 out of 7 Days / Weekends on rota - approx. every other weekend
  • £12.39 per hour

Duties will include:
  • Work as part of a team to ensure that cleaning standards are maintained across all areas of the property.
  • Carry out general cleaning and housekeeping duties including hoovering, dusting, bathroom and kitchen cleaning, changing bedding etc.
  • Undertake heavy cleaning as directed by the Scheme Manager.
  • Always observe safe working practices and report any hazards.
  • Notify the Scheme Manager / Senior Housekeeper of any changes in stock levels.
  • Check machinery and equipment and report faults using maintenance request system in place within each dept.
  • Report any electrical or maintenance defects identified whilst undertaking duties using maintenance request system in place within each dept.
  • Carry out Ironing for the Catering Department.
 
Skills and Experience Required:
  • Previous cleaning experience in a care setting is preferred.
  • Good people skills with a caring and compassionate nature.
  • A positive, professional, and proactive approach.
  • A real team player.
  • You will be aligned to the organisations Visons and Values.
