We are looking for a Goods In Operative to join the Operations Team at a growing chemical business based in Elland. This is a hands-on role ensuring all goods received are managed efficiently and meet both client requirements and industry regulations.
 
 
What you'll be doing...

• Receive and inspect all incoming goods, checking against purchase orders and client specifications
• Verify that all materials are correctly labelled and meet quality standards, reporting discrepancies or damages
• Ensure hazardous materials are handled and stored in line with COSHH, COMAH, and relevant safety regulations
• Accurately log all goods received in a timely manner
• Liaise with suppliers and clients to resolve issues related to damaged or missing items
• Assist with preparing materials for outgoing shipments
