Account Manager Pharmaceuticals:

We are looking for an Account Manager to develop new opportunities for existing product ranges within existing customer portfolios for a leading chemical distributor.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING…
 
Developing new opportunities for existing product ranges within existing customer portfolios whilst providing commercial information and a day-to-day liaison point for customers.
  • Provide a commercial point of contact for the portfolio of active UK Pharma and Nutra customers.
  • Visit customers to cement relationships and develop new opportunities for existing products.
  • Liaise with the Technical Team on supporting customer technical and regulatory enquiries.
  • Investigate future trends to direct new formulation and presentation development.
  • Support Customer Service teams with customer liaison.
  • Attend industry exhibitions and training at suppliers.
 
YOUR BACKGROUND…
 
Must have:
  • Customer service experience.
  • Strong organisational and planning skills.
  • A strong scientific background.
  • Learning orientated mindset.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Computer literacy (Microsoft Excel/Word).
  • Full UK Driving License.
Nice to have:
  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Chemistry, Biology or related field.
  • Experience with Mintel.
  • General regulatory landscape and relevance understanding.
  • Experience in a similar account management role.
