Sales Development Representative

Leeds
  • £26000 - £27000 / Year,
  • Full-time or Part-time

Sales Development Representative | Leeds, LS11 - office based
Monday to Friday | Full-time or Part-time considered
£26,000-£27,000 basic salary, realistic OTE £35,000

We're looking for a Sales Development Representative to join a small, friendly and growing business where your contribution will genuinely make a difference.

This is not a role where you're just another number. You'll be a valued member of the team.

If you enjoy building conversations, opening doors, and being recognised and rewarded for your effort, this could be exactly what you've been looking for.

If you're currently in a role where your efforts go unnoticed or where you're getting little reward, this is your chance to step into something more engaging and where you'll feel valued.

What you'll be doing

  • Making outbound calls to businesses across a range of sectors
  • Introducing services, building interest and creating opportunities
  • Following up on marketing campaigns and mailers
  • Qualifying prospects and booking appointments for the wider team
  • Maintaining and cleansing CRM data to ensure accuracy
  • Diarising follow-ups and managing your own pipeline
  • Building rapport and long-term relationships with potential clients
  • Working closely with internal teams to maximise opportunities
  • Contributing ideas to improve campaigns and outreach
There is opportunity, for those who want it, to attend meetings with customers and develop your career further into a more client-facing role.

What we're looking for
  • Previous experience in telesales, telemarketing, appointment setting, business development or a similar role
  • Confident communicator who enjoys speaking to people
  • Proactive, self-motivated and organised
  • Able to handle objections and keep conversations positive and productive
  • Good attention to detail, especially when managing data and follow-ups
  • Someone who enjoys working in a small, supportive team environment

What's in it for you
  • £26,000 - £27,000 basic salary with realistic OTE of £35,000
  • Full-time or part-time hours available between standard office hours, Monday to Friday
  • Office-based role in Leeds, LS11, with potential for hybrid working after probation
  • A supportive, down-to-earth team where you'll feel valued
  • A varied role with different sectors and conversations
  • Clear opportunity to develop into a more senior or client-facing role
  • A business that recognises and rewards effort and results

What does the company do?

Our client operates within the managed print and office technology sector, offering businesses a smarter, more cost-effective way to manage their printing and document needs.

Alongside this, they are committed to a more sustainable approach, helping businesses reduce waste and operate more responsibly.

This is a great opportunity if you enjoy the front end of the sales process, opening conversations, creating opportunities and being part of a team that values quality over volume.

Please apply with a well presented, up to date CV.

Key Appointments UK Ltd will assess your suitability for the role based on the information contained in your CV and application. This includes skills, experience, education, and location.

By applying for this role, you give consent for your CV to be processed by Key Appointments for recruitment purposes. Our full Privacy Policy is available at key-appointments.
