We are recruiting a Vehicle Paint Technician on behalf of Armstrong & Burns Ltd, a well-established, independent and manufacturer-approved Accident Repair Centre based in Beeston, Leeds.
 
Working from a modern, well-equipped bodyshop, you will join an experienced team committed to completing high-quality vehicle repairs to manufacturer and industry standards.
 
 
What You Can Expect

  • Good salary dependent on qualifications and experience
  • Holidays: 20 days + 8 bank holidays + Christmas to New Year closure

  • Flexible start / finish between (7am-8.30am / 3.30pm-5pm) - 4pm finish Friday

The Role: Vehicle Paint Technician

 
As a Paint Technician, you will prepare and refinish vehicles to an exceptional standard while working efficiently to meet strict deadlines.
 
Your responsibilities will include:
  • Preparing vehicles and panels for painting
  • Colour matching and mixing paints accurately
  • Applying paint finishes to manufacturer standards
  • Confidently completing three-stage pearl and tinted clear coat applications
  • Producing consistently high-quality finishes
  • Working efficiently within a busy Accident Repair Centre
  • Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment
  • Supporting colleagues and contributing positively to the wider team
 
About You
 
To be considered for this role, you must have:
  • A minimum Level 3 NVQ qualification in Vehicle Paint Refinishing or a related discipline
  • Previous experience working as a Vehicle Paint Technician within a busy accident repair centre
  • Experience completing three-stage pearl and tinted clear coat applications
  • The ability to work competently and efficiently to strict deadlines
  • Excellent attention to detail and pride in the quality of your work
  • A positive attitude and the ability to work well as part of a team
ATA accreditation would be a strong advantage but is not essential.
 
The ideal candidate will be forward-thinking and proactive, with a willingness to share ideas that could improve working practices and increase efficiency.
