On behalf of this leading chemical business, we are looking for a Production Planner to join their friendly team at their dynamic offices based in Middlesbrough on a 12-month fixed term contract.

What you’ll be doing…
Reporting to the Planning and Logistics Manager, you will be responsible for all areas of stocks and assets for the business including:
  • Assist in the creation of a 5-day fixed Production Plan for Blending station 1 and CleanAirBlue divisions.
  • Communicate any deviations in the daily plan to the Line Manager.
  • Main link of information between production and commercial, ensuring that all departments have all up to date information.
  • Monitor the progression of any urgent products throughout the day and help resolve any issues.
  • Ensuring all raw materials/packaging is available to complete all relevant orders for the required production dates.
  • Plan daily site loads efficiently by customer sales request days.
 
 
We’re looking for someone who has…
 
Essential:
  • Operational planning knowledge.
  • Ability to forward think and ability to resolve issues/problems.
  • Ability to plan efficient dispatch loads.
  • Ability to communicate at any level.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Team player.
 
Nice to have:
  • Knowledge of lean practices
  • Process and chemical awareness
  • Knowledge of Kanban processes
  • Good level of knowledge of Microsoft packages especially Excel and Word.
