We are recruiting on behalf of S Fearn Plumbing & Heating who are looking for an optimistic and professional Plumber and Bathroom Installer who is a natural organiser.

GENERAL DETAILS

  • Job title: Plumber and Bathroom Installer
  • Location: site based, head office Seacroft, Leeds LS14
  • Salary Circa £38,000 per annum (depending on experience and qualifications), overtime available on request
  • Full time, Permanent, Employed
  • Working hours: Monday to Friday 8.30am-4.30pm

OVERVIEW
As a bathroom installer you will be responsible for the smooth operation of all aspects of bathroom and wet room installation, including ordering materials, organising sub-contractors, being the first point of contact with our customers and keeping the office up to date on progress.
 
You will also be required to diagnose and correct a range of faults in bathrooms including identifying specific parts.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Installing bathrooms and wet rooms - You must be able to interpret scale drawings where available, including advising the customer where appropriate.
  • Dealing with customer queries - As the main point of contact for the customer, you must be able to fully explain what you are doing and why, in addition to understanding the customers ideas and making them a reality.
  • Estimating and ordering of materials - Be able to assess the quantities required for the job and ordering them in a timely manner to ensure the timescales of the job are kept.
  • Carrying out work to an extremely high standard - The company has a reputation of carrying out work of the highest quality and accuracy which must be carried through every aspect of your work.
  • Liaising with line managers and other trades - You must be able to manage other trades and be able to organise the entire project to keep on schedule.
  • Ensuring customers property and possessions are well respected - Working in a domestic environment, it is the utmost importance that the customers property is always fully protected and respected.
  • Accurate completion of job reports - You will be responsible for checking in and out of every job and completing detailed job reports including keeping stock records up to date.
 
 REQUIREMENTS
  • NVQ level 2 in Plumbing or higher
  • At least 5 years' experience installing bathrooms and wetrooms
  • Strong organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in tiling is an advantage, although not essential.
  • Full UK driving licence.
