We are looking for a Laboratory Technician to join a friendly and dynamic Quality Control Laboratory based in Middlesbrough.

What you’ll be doing…
Reporting to the Laboratory Manager, your duties will include:

  • Analysis of raw materials and finished products.
  • Maintaining and calibration of Laboratory Equipment.
  • Completion of analytical records in accordance with company procedures.
  • Cover for colleagues during holiday/sickness periods.
  • Undertake as necessary any other relevant and associated tasks or projects.
Your background…
Must have…
  • Chemistry or closely related science degree.
  • Effective team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, enthusiastic with a “can-do “attitude.
Nice to have…
  • Laboratory Experience.
  • Ability to plan and prioritise workload, work under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Good level of knowledge of Microsoft packages especially Excel and Word.
