IT Business Systems Analyst

We have an excellent opportunity for a IT Business Systems Analyst to join a UK-headquartered chemical distribution organization with a global presence.
As an IT Business Systems Analyst you will support internal employees to build reports, analyse requirements for existing and newly implemented systems whilst also maintaining and configuring them to provide efficiency throughout the business and deliver projects on time and to specification. You will have the opportunity to really make a difference within this role and will receive support to positively progress your career, you will also receive job-specific training on the systems you will be supporting.
You will be joining a collaborative team that is open-minded and loves to share ideas.
  • Report building and administration in SQL, SAGE and Microsoft Dynamics
  • General application troubleshooting skills
  • Providing professional user support in a helpdesk environment
  • Performing logical fault finding
  • Handling large datasets in both SQL and Excel
  • Taking part in technical discussions and project planning

  • Strong communication skills
  • Understanding of database architectures
  • Familiar with use of SQL
  • Knowledge of basic principles of programming languages
  • A good Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or technically related degree
  • Familiarity with Windows server platforms and Windows desktop
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to work independently on given tasks
  • Experience with ERP systems
  • Previous experience of data cleansing and migration
  • Experience of previous project-driven working environment.
  • Full UK Driving License
