You'll gain hands-on experience in the chemical industry and play a key role in building strong SME customer relationships.
 
 
What You'll Be Doing
 
As an Account Manager, you will:

  • Manage and grow a portfolio of SME accounts.
  • Build strong and lasting client relationships through regular contact, both virtual and face-to-face.
  • Develop an opportunity pipeline to identify new business within existing clients.
  • Proactively use outbound activity to generate fresh opportunities.
  • Ensure clients receive an exceptional service that strengthens long-term loyalty.

What We're Looking For
 
Essential:
  • Experience in an internal sales or B2B customer service role looking to develop.
  • Ability to prioritise workload, multitask, and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • A self-starter with initiative, able to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Able to adapt quickly to changing market conditions.
  • Passion for building strong, lasting relationships with clients.
Desirable:
  • Knowledge of or experience in the chemical distribution sector or similar.
  • Experience using Microsoft Dynamics or similar CRM systems.
