Sales Executive /

  • £22,000-£25,000 + commission + car/allowance,
  • Permanent, Full-time

We are looking for a Sales Executive for this successful Commercial Interiors company in Leeds. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to develop into a role, who can build relationships easily and be driven to acquire new customers.

You will be happy to generate new business through a variety of sales and marketing techniques and have a team ethic to support the business meet the needs of clients. You will be required to attend sales meetings across Yorkshire, Lancashire, the North East and down to Leicestershire to ascertain client’s needs, take measurements and produce accurate quotes. Occasionally you may be required to travel further afield with the odd stopover dependent on location.

Employment details;

  • Basic Salary: £20,000-£25,000 per annum depending on experience
  • Uncapped commission structure
  • Company car / Car allowance
  • 30 days holiday including statutory days
  • Monday to Friday / 40 hour week

 Requirements for the role;

  • Essential experience in a business to business sales role, generating new business
  • Experience in the interiors or construction related sectors would be preferred
  • Self-motivated and driven to achieve sales
  • Can build relationships with ease and provide high standards of customer service
  • Able to communicate professionally both verbally and in writing
  • Good numerical skills and attention to detail
  • Good IT skills and accustomed to using Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Full UK Driving Licence is essential

Specific duties;

  • Following up on leads to ascertain client’s requirements
  • Database cleansing to ensure correct contact details are kept on file
  • Attending sales appointments and carrying out surveys
  • Researching upcoming projects and contacts to target
  • Networking with associated sectors to encourage business referrals
  • Consider all marketing and sales channels to develop new business
  • Providing swift and accurate quotations following the company’s price framework
  • Follow up quotations to gain commitment from customers and proceed with the sale
  • Ensure all customer enquiries and queries are promptly answered
  • Learn as much as possible about the nature of the business
