IT Service Desk Technician /

The Company is a multinational Chemical Distributor that provides their customers with a world-class service and advice on the use of its products.
We are looking for a highly motivated IT Service Desk Technician with a keen eye for detail and natural ability to solve problems, you will remain very hands-on and should be comfortable working under pressure. These skills are essential as other parts of the business will look to you for solutions to both typical support issues and larger business process problems. You will be joining a friendly and dynamic team where you will make an impact and quickly see the results of your work.
This position will offer you the potential to further develop your professional and personal skills in a fast paced and growing IT department, which are evolving to become a global provider of support to over 300 users. You will work on a variety of diverse projects assisting the business to improve productivity and reliability of processes, whilst primarily supporting day-to-day IT operations.
You will primarily be based at the company’s Runcorn site (home working as appropriate in the current climate). You may also be required to travel to other company sites within the UK to support ongoing and new business activities.
You will need to have the confidence to work independently and interface with staff members across the business, both from the office and home. The successful candidate will receive on the job training to help them fulfil their new role, a competitive salary and excellent benefits package.
