ABOUT THE ROLE
 
We have an exciting opportunity for a Human Resources Graduate, you will become part of our clients Human Resources team, you will be working to support colleagues with procedures such as recruitment, sickness absence, performance management, discipline and grievance as well as processing changes on the company’s HR software.
 
You will also need to advise and coach your colleagues to raise an awareness and understanding of people policies and procedures. You will be working with HR software supporting recruitment practices, new starter procedures as well as general management and updating of HR records and payroll.
 
Day-to-day, you will take part in:
  • Supporting managers and team leaders on all recruiting matters.
  • Advising managers and providing guidance on HR policy and procedures.
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge on employment law to be able to sufficiently advise managers/employees on any areas of concern and to ensure appropriate action.
  • Manage investigations and employee relations issues such as disciplinary and grievance processes.

Must have…
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • High level of confidentiality.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer facing skills.
  • Excellent problem solver.
  • Tact and Diplomacy.
  • The ability to work accurately, with attention to detail.
  • To enjoy working with people.
  • HR degree or relevant business or law degree.
Bonus to have…
  • CIPD Fully / Part Qualified.
  • Prior experience in a HR role.
