On behalf of this leading chemical distribution company, we are looking for a Chemical Operative to provide support to their Middlesbrough site in all production related areas.

  • Order Picking
  • Preparation of packaging
  • Filling product
  • Loading & Unloading Vehicles
  • Transhipping into ISO-tanks
  • Blending
  • Forklift truck duties
As a Chemical Operative, you will assist in filling and blending of product into both drums and tanks whilst maintaining the highest standards of Health, Safety and Quality.
All activities in this Chemical Operative role will require paperwork to be completed correctly and for equipment to be used safely as trained. Full training will be provided where required.
We are looking for someone who is self-motivated, results-oriented, a problem solver and a reliable person who can influence those around them. You must be able to function independently and be willing to assume accountability and responsibility. 
As a Chemical Operative you will be an excellent team player with high standards, adaptable to changing situations as sales orders dictate.
Relevant training in procedures and risk assessments will be provided which you will be expected to adhere to.
  • Ability to follow standard operating procedures
  • Experience using static pumps and meters
  • Good communication, organisation, and planning
  • Attention to detail
  • Counterbalance forklift truck licence
  • NVQ2 or above in chemical operations
  • Background DBS Check
  • IATA Known Consignor’s Training
